Tribal Textiles Room Tidy – Hand Painted, Fairly Traded
Hand painted room tidies made from 100% cotton by Tribal Textiles. The handmade nature of these items mean that every one is unique and designs may differ slightly from those shown. Machine washable up to 30 degrees.
General Information:80 cm x 150 cm – available with 8 , 9 or 10 pockets of various sizes.
60 cm x 150 cm – available with 4,5,6 or 8 pockets of various sizes.
Tribal Textiles are a fair trade company, based in Mfuwe in Zambia. They employ 160 staff from the surrounding community, providing regular employment in an area which has traditionally relied on subsistence agriculture and seasonal tourism for employment. Training, education and health support are provided to employees. As well as providing employment in the local area, they actively support and fundraise for the local community school.
