Ecoutlet Standby Buster Remote Control
A remote controlled electrical socket that lets you switch appliances off completely so that they use no electricity – all with one flick of a switch – ideal if your appliances have sockets that are difficult to reach! The first product of it’s type to be approved by the Energy Savings Trust and can have a payback period of less than 1 year.
General Information:Method of Use – The Standby Buster consists of two parts, an electrical socket/plug and a remote control. A typical home may have a TV, DVD, digital TV receiver and hi–fi all plugged into a four–way block which is in turn plugged into the wall. Simply unplug the four–way block, plug the Standby socket into the wall outlet and then plug the four–way block into the Standby socket. You can now turn off the power to all the appliances completely by just using the Standby Buster remote control.
The remote control has four pairs of ’On/Off’ buttons. Each of these pairs represents a zone and you can connect as many Standby Buster sockets as you want to each zone. For example, you could put the TV, DVD, digital TV box and hi–fi on zone 1, all your table and free standing lights on zone 2 and the TV and DVD in the bedroom on zone 3.
