Excel Industries Ltd Warmcel 100
Warmcel 100 is loose fill loft insulation, provided in convenient size bags and is designed for manual installation over the loft floor area to completely fill in between and around joints, wiring and pipework to ensure a fully air–tight solution. Manufactured from 100% recycled newsprint using much less energy than conventional materials. It is non–toxic, non–irritant and presents no health hazard whatsover.
General Information:The inclusion of simple inorganic salts means that Warmcel is extremely resistant to fire, enabling it to comfortably meet the fire protection standards required for timber frame construction and conventional lofts.
150mm of Warmcel has a thermal resistance of 4.05 m² degK/W.
Each bale of Warmcel 100 will provide 0.25 m³ of loose fill insulation. At a thickness of 150mm, (recommended minimum thickness), four bales will cover an area of approximately 6.6 m².
Other grades of Warmcel can be installed by air blowing into cavities or spraying on to a vertical surface, these are not suitable for DIY installation.
