Herbfarmacy Dandelion and Burdock Tincture – Organic
Organic tincture of the classic herbal combination of Dandelion and Burdock from Herbfarmacy. Traditionally used as a liver tonic, for cleansing the blood and general detoxification. Believed to be useful as a skin tonic and may be beneficial for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.
General Information:Herbfarmacy are based on their own farm on the Welsh borders, where medicinal herbs for tinctures, oils and ointments have been grown for 25 years. All Herbfarmacy products are made by hand in small batches using traditional methods and herbs grown on the farm. Herbfarmacy is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of its activities and is commissioning a detailed carbon audit and action plan – their aim is to become carbon positive over time.
One percent of product sales is kept aside to fund a programme of alternative energy generation for Herbfarmacy, starting with solar heating of water for processing and cleaning. The refurbishment of the ointment and oil–making rooms, to accommodate the new products, has involved extensive use of insulation materials made locally, and the southerly aspect of the building will lend itself well to harvesting the sun.

Ingredients:Organic dandelion (taraxacum officinale) root, organic burdock (arctium lappa) root tinctures 1:1.33 w/v in 25% organic ethanol.
