Tribal Textiles Wall Hangings – Hand Painted, Fairly Traded
Ideal as an alternative to framed pictures, these wall hangings are fairly traded from Tribal Textiles. Available in a fabulous selection of elephant, giraffe and Maasai figure designs – alternative styles and colours can also be made to suit requirements. Each item is hand painted and therefore unique and so colours and layout may vary slightly. Machine washable up to 30 degrees. 80 cm x 70 cm (other sizes are also available).
General Information:Tribal Textiles are a fair trade company, based in Mfuwe in Zambia. They employ 160 staff from the surrounding community, providing regular employment in an area which has traditionally relied on subsistence agriculture and seasonal tourism for employment. Training, education and health support are provided to employees. As well as providing employment in the local area, they actively support and fundraise for the local community school.
