Worms Direct UK Earth Worms – Lumbricus Terrestris
These are the large worms with the flat tail that are found in our gardens. They are a deep soil living worm, ideal for flower and vegetable beds and a no dig and mulching policy should be adopted where these worms are to be established. If worm casts are considered a problem, do not release into lawn areas.
General Information:Available in the following quantities – 50, 100, 200, 500.
Instructions – Earthworms need to be planted on arrival as simply scattering them over the required area will not work. Dig a trowel depth hole, putting in some old compost (not potting or seeding), water, place a few worms in and cover. Do this at intervals over the area needing the worms.
